The 10th of May 1994 was a very special day for many people in the Dr Feelgood Music Bar on Canvey Island, the birthplace of the band. It was the first of a series of Lee Brilleaux Memorials and I’m sure, Lee would have enjoyed to see how many members of the various line-ups came together to share the stage! Wilko, Sparko and The Big Figure played together the first time since ages. How great to see ex- and actual members of Dr Feelgood mixing together plus few friends, p(l)aying their tribute to Lee. WHAT A GREAT DAY! - Result of this indiscribable event was the decision to organize a Lee Brilleaux Memorial each year.
